The Garage Jr. High Ministry
The Jr. High Ministry meets on Sunday mornings at 10:45am and Wednesday nights from 7pm-9pm. The desire of our ministry is to inspire students to make their relationship with God personal and deep.
We help students grow in their faith through times of Biblical teaching, worship, small group discussions and opportunities for outreach. A typical Sunday consists of a game, worship and teaching. And Wednesdays are theme nights with games, worship and small group time. Each month we rotate a Wednesday night that is fully devoted to worship with a night focused on outreach in the community. Providing students with the chance to evaluate where they are in their walk with the Lord along with an opportunity to serve others are both important elements in their growth.
Throughout the year we have many trips and other fun events. We attend Hume Lake Winter Camp in March and Hume Lake Summer Camp in July. Along with Hume we also put on our own River Raft Trip and Band of Brothers (an 8th Grade Guys Trip). Each month we provide a Saturday activity for the students such as a baseball game and BBQ, a football game and lunch, a trip to Golfland or just a fun night of pizza and hanging out at the church.
