I have served as the pastor of the Spanish Ministry, Iglesia Libre en Cristo, at Hillside Church since the beginning of the ministry in 2000. What started as a Bible study in our home is now fully a Spanish-speaking congregation.
I was born in Honduras, Central America, of a Honduran mother and a Salvadoran father. I moved to San Jose in 1984. My wife, Martha, and I were married in 1990. We have three children: Anthony, Stephanie, and Jessy.
I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior in 1991 and since that time I have been striving to be His faithful servant. My passion is to lead people to salvation through faith in our Savior Jesus Christ. I will serve Him as long as He gives me strength. He performed many miraculous things in my life. He saved my marriage, delivered me from many addictions, and most importantly He gave me salvation.
Also, I give thanks to the Lord for giving me the opportunity to work in this ministry, which is His special congregation. Iglesia Libre en Cristo is very special to me!
Yo he servido como el Pastor de el Ministerio español de la Iglesia Libre en Cristo en Hillside Evangelical Free Church desde el comienzo del ministerio en el año 2000. Lo que empezó como un estudio bíblico en mi hogar, ahora es una congregación Hispana.
Yo nací en Honduras, en América Central, de madre Hondureña y padre Salvadoreño. Yo vivo en San José desde 1984. Mi esposa, Marta, y yo nos casamos en el ano 1990; y tenemos tres hijos: Anthony, Stephanie y Jessy.
Yo acepte a Jesucristo como mi Señor y Salvador en 1991 y desde ese año yo me he estado esforzando como Su siervo fiel. Mi pasión es dirigir a personas a la salvación por la fe en Jesucristo nuestro Salvador. Yo le serviré tan largo como El me de fuerza. El realizo muchas cosas milagrosas en mi vida. El salvo mi matrimonio, me salvo de muchas adicciones y mas importante, El me dio la salvación.
