Purpose
We desire to introduce women to Jesus and inspire them to follow Him fully. We accomplish this by teaching them God's Word and helping them apply His teachings in order to be equipped to live a balanced life before God, fellow believers, and those who do not yet believe. We want to provide ministries that allow opportunities for Christian growth, cultivating friendships, service, and reaching out to others.
Thursday Bible Studies
Women have the opportunity to be in small groups to study God’s Word. Our Study in the Gospel of Luke, that started in September 2007, continues in 2008. We have groups meeting on both Thursday morning and evening. Please see the Thursday Bible Studies page for schedule details.
Precept Inductive Bible Studies
Our Precept Studies allow you to learn God’s Word through Inductive Bible Study. Our Study in the book of Hebrews, that started in September 2007, continues this new year. Please see the Precept Bible Studies page for schedule details.

Breakfast Clubs are designed for women to meet other women. Three times a year they are hosted in homes on Saturday mornings, from 9:00-10:30am. Once a year we meet all together here at Hillside. They provide a great way for you to meet other women as well as to invite a friend.

Registration for the Hillside Women’s Spring Retreat, Psalms: A Lighthouse for the Soul, is now OPEN. Stop by the Women’s Ministry table on Sunday mornings or download the Spring Retreat Brochure here.
We will be returning to the Lighthouse Lodge in Pacific Grove for our retreat on May 2-4. Susan Burlini, a women’s speaker and Hillside attendee, will be our guest speaker and will focus her teaching on the book of Psalms. Housing accommodations and prices vary, so please read the Spring Retreat Brochure carefully. Scholarships are also available to attend this wonderful weekend away.

Service Opportunities
- Dorcas - White Cross Workers
This ministry opportunity meets on the first Wednesday of each month (September through June) from 9:30am until 11:30am. Our Purpose: prepare clothe bandages and other hospital supplies for the Tandala Medical Center in Congo, Africa. Also, if you like to sew, you can bring your sewing machine and join us as we sew baby sets for the Medical Center.
