Why do you think music is such a big part of our worship? Is singing a natural act for you? What if someone just isn't a singer, how does Psalm 95:1 apply to him or her? Should music styles really matter? Do you agree with Paul's point that true worship is God-centered? How does God-centered worship fit, or not fit, with our consumer-driven culture today? In a church full of very different individuals how do we find common ways to express our love for the Lord in worship? Our expressions of worship can be intensely personal, yet we are called to worship together as a community of believers. Is it ever difficult to express yourself when others are around? Psalm 95 talks about kneeling and bowing before God in worship. What does that mean to you today? Re-read Romans 12:1-2. How is the definition of worship in these verses similar or different from the common use of the word worship in churches today? Share some ways that you offer your body as a living sacrifice to the Lord in daily life. How can you begin to make everyday an expression of worship to our Lord? | |
