Do you believe that we need to walk through every door that God opens for us? Have you passed up an opportunity to serve God in some way that you now regret? Did Paul's example in this text (or Joe's take on it) make you think differently about our ability to pick and choose different opportunities God brings our way?

The imagery of the Roman triumphal procession gives us confidence that our ministry efforts are effective. Does this encourage you about anything going on in your life right now, or did it make you wonder if you are carrying the scent at all?
