Are your expectations typically high, low or realistic? Do you find that you are disappointed most often or pleasantly surprised?. What has happened in the last week that has caused you to think or talk about Job? Look at Job 11:13-19. Do you think what Zophar is saying is true? Is he overstating reality? How do you see sin and suffering as being related: a) I suffer the consequences for my sins; b) I suffer for the sins committed by others; c) I suffer without regard to sin; d) I sin without suffering any immediate consequences; or e) I sin without suffering. Give an example to support your case. In your current suffering do you need more tears, more truth or a mixture of both? Which of these two are you most likely to give to others who are suffering?
