Have you ever made a significant, personal sacrifice in response to God’s directive? Do you believe today’s message contains a directive for you? What could that be and what would be some apparent obstacles to overcome? There’s a lot of “blessing” going on in 12:1-3. Assuming God used words intentionally, discuss what is being said.
