Thriving, Not Just Surviving in Parenting Teens
with Bryan Allen

We will have an interactive teaching/discussion each week about dealing with the complexities of having a teenager in your house. Our teenagers are like sponges soaking up all that the world has for them, and we want to help them learn to make good decisions for themselves. We will look together to see what God wants our families to look like and what we can do to help our teenager grow into who God intends them to be.

This elective meets Sundays at 9am starting January 14.

True North: Charting a Course towards God's Ideal marriage
with John Scianna

In this study we will look deeply into Scripture to see: 1. God’s design for creating mankind.  2. God’s intentions for marriage.  3. What does the Bible really say about marriage? 4. Some of the roadblocks we encounter in our marriages, and how we get around them. 5. What the results could be if we move closer to God’s ideal marriage.

This elective meets Sundays at 9am starting January 14.

Trusting God: Even When Life Hurts
with Pastor Scott Owsley

We all experience adversity at different times in our lives. Sometimes it comes in the form of consuming pain, unexpected loss, or heartbreak. Together we will begin to explore the scope of God's power over nations, nature, and the detailed lives of individuals. We'll begin to acknowledge His loving control. And as we come to know Him better, we'll find ourselves trusting Him more completely. Jerry Bridges’ book, Trusting God: Even When Life Hurts, will be our key resource as we discover the scope of God’s complete sovereignty, infinite wisdom, and never-ending love that are always working on our behalf, even when we don’t understand the things we see.

This elective meets Sundays at 10:45am starting January 14.
