THRIVE! Parenting Conference

THRIVE!

Parenting for the Next Generation

Is your 14-year-old sarcastic, or even mean when you ask him to do something? Does your 5-year-old have meltdowns when she doesn’t get her way? Is your 7-year-old negative, your 9-year-old mean to his brother or your 3-year-old defiant? Maybe you don’t have any of these problems – yet, you’re just starting out and would like to avoid them if possible.

Drs. Scott Turansky and Joanne Miller, Directors of the National Center for Biblical Parenting, will be at Hillside Church for a live seminar that will teach you how to develop a parenting plan that takes your child’s unique needs into account. Instead of dealing only with behavior, you’ll learn how to shape your child’s heart, so that he or she learns to want to do what is best.

This seminar is appropriate for parents with children of all ages. It will give you the tools to address sibling conflict, poor school performance, disrespect, laziness, procrastination, sloppy work, emotional outbursts, self-centeredness, and so much more.

Cost is $50 per couple, $25 per person.  A children's program for infants to 5th grade is provided.
