Membership Class

For as in one body we have many members,
and the members do not all have the same function,
so we, though many, are one body in Christ,
and individually members one of another.
— Romans 12:4-5

New to Hillside and want to learn more? Maybe you’ve been here for a while and never took the step of membership? Our Next Series of Membership Classes begins April 14. This 3 week class will be in Room 220 and will take place during the 11 AM service time (Think of it like a Fellowship group). An additional fourth week is required for those who have yet to be baptized.

We believe church membership is a formal commitment to unite with a local body of believers who regularly gather together to fulfill God’s purposes for a church. We'll talk about who we are, what we believe, ways you can connect through fellowship & service, and how you can become a member of Hillside. Below is a snapshot of what to expect.

Membership is a part of being a Christ-follower, as we are called to be involved and committed to the local church.  Being a Christian does not mean sitting on the sidelines.  Members at Hillside are committed to Hillside's doctrine and are active in ministries as they are serving and growing.

To become a member, we ask that you attend the Membership Course, agree with Hillside's Statement of Faith, and interview with an elder. If you are interested in joining our class, Register via the button below.

If you have any questions, email Pastor Mark.
